       Tafseer Surah 112- Al-Ikhlaas

Surah Al-Ikhlaas is one of the great surah of the Qur'an. It is that surah of the Qur'an which is told by the Hazrat Muhammad SAW that it is the sample of the Qur'an(1/3), which talks about the Tauhid. In short we can say that it is the definition of Allah...

(۱ )۔ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ(Qul huwa Allahu ahadun)

Meaning: Say: He is Allah, the One and Only.

Tafseer:  Say: He is Allah, the One and Only. Here the word احد (Ahad) means that he is not only one but unique also. If there will be واحد (waahid), then it the only one.  But here the word used is احد (Ahad) that means that he is not only one but unique also.

(۲ )۔ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ( Allahu alssamadu)

Meaning: Allah, the Eternal, Absolute.

Tafseer: Allah is setup by him no one have created him. His life is not given by anyone. His life his owns, his knowledge is his own. Rest all the creatures of the universe is his pleasure. Our life is not ours, it is given by Allah. He could take it as he want. He is the creator of all the Creatures.

(۳)۔ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ (Lam yalid walam  yooladu)

Meaning: He begetteth not, nor is He begotten.

Tafseer: Neither his parents nor children. But some of the people come and says that he has daughter that is Angeles some people gave him son that is Jesus Christ (PHUB) and Hazrat Huzair (PHUB) some of The Jewish. But He(Allah) is unique, Has no parents and no Chillenden.

(۴)۔ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ (Walam yakun lahu kufuwan ahadun)

Meaning: And there is none like unto Him.

Tafseer: There is nothing like him.  کفو (kufuwa) is called as Equal. There is nothing equal to him.  In any case ( like, dislike, anti, example,) there is nothing like Him.
